Maurice Allen (Bubba) Logsdon, 69, of Lake Cormorant, MS, passed away January 6, 2019. Mr. Logsdon was born on February 17, 1950, in Memphis, TN.
He was a Vietnam veteran and was involved with the VFW and the American Legion. He loved the outdoors. Maurice Logsdon leaves behind his brothers, John D. Logsdon, Jr. of Rolla, MO; James C. (Inez) Logsdon of Olive Branch, MS, and Joseph A. (Fay) Logsdon of Horn Lake, MS; sisters, Jerrie L. Fulbright of Oakland, TN and Jane L. Walker of Lake Cormorant, MS and numerous nieces and nephews. Maurice was preceded in death by his parents, John Dewey Logsdon, Sr. and Margaret Marie McClure Logsdon; sister, Margaret A. Timbes and brother, Lonnie E. Logsdon. Visitation was held Thursday, January 9, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Coleman Funeral Home (6815 Parkview Blvd, Olive Branch, MS) with a funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel.Burial followed at Forest Hill South Cemetery, 2545 E. Holmes Road, Memphis, TN, 38118. Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch was in charge of the arrangements. In honor of Maurice Allen Logsdon's service to our country, the flag of the United States Army was flown at Coleman Funeral Home.
