Gerald Wayne White Sr., age 72, of Courtland, MS passed away peacefully on May 15, 2021. The family will welcome friends and family on May 22, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 West Poplar, Collierville, TN. Funeral Service will be held on May 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 West Poplar, Collierville, TN. with a graveside service to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery South, 2545 E. Holmes Rd. Memphis, TN.
Gerald was born on July 8th, 1949 in Gulfport, MS to Olen White & Erma Juanita Pearson. He graduated from Westwood High School in Memphis, TN in 1968 and soon began his career at Memphis Fire Department in 1970 where he retired as Lt in 1995. In 1996 he joined Panola County Sheriff's Department as a deputy and retired in 2014 as a Lt and Fire Investigator.
Always active, he volunteered with The Shriners Foundation where he was Past Master of Panola Lodge #66 and a Wahabi Shriner. He enjoyed woodcarving, working with leather, riding motorcycles and always enjoyed being in the company of friends and family. He had a fun-loving spirit and if you met him, you remembered him. We will all cherish the memories of his smile and infectious laughter.
Gerald was preceded in death by his father, Olen White, stepmother, Opal White, stepfather, Burl Stembridge, son, Travis Wade White and beloved wife, Donna S. White.
Gerald is survived by his Mother, Nita Stembridge. his children Angie White (Chuck) Gerald Wayne White Jr. (Dori), John T. White (Rhonda) Jennifer Lawhorn (Scott), Michael Penna (Martha Anne). Gerald also leaves behind several grandchildren, Courtney White, Brandon Lonkar, Blake Allen, Dylan White, Faith White, Makaylin White, Beckett White, Peyton Carter, Garrett Penna (Matalyn), Hanna Lawhorn, Olivia Lawhorn, Brenna Anderson, Ian Anderson, Savannah Jordan, Branson Jordan, and one great grandchild Lennox Carter. He also leaves behind siblings Wanda Beard (Ronnie), Jerry Cole (Rosa), Max Cole and several cousins, nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.
Collierville Funeral Home had charge of his services. Visitation were held on May 22, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Collierville Funeral Home. The Funeral Service was held on May 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 West Poplar, Collierville, TN.

March 25, 1947 to April 28, 2021
Donna was born March 25, 1947. She graduated from Westside HS in 1965 and then attended UT Martin in 1966 where she met James T. Penna. They married April 7, 1967 and had two children, Jennifer Susanne and James Michael.
She had training for American Family Life Insurance which today is known as AFLAC, where she passed her state insurance test and was licensed to sell. She was an OR surgical tech at St. Joseph Hospital in the late 60's and 70's. She then went to work at Memphis Fire Communications Bureau as a 911 dispatcher from 1980 to 1995. This is where she met her husband, Gerald. They married November 19, 1982, gaining 4 more children, Angie, Wayne, John and Travis. In 1995 she went to work for Panola County Sheriff's office as a dispatcher where she retired in 2014.
She was a "Daughters of the Nile" member with the "Shriners Foundation", where her husband is a Shriner. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her Asphalt Seekers group and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchild. She will forever be greatly missed and once again joined with her sweet Lily at the rainbow bridge.
Donna is survived by her children Jennifer Lawhorn (Scott), Michael Penna (Martha Anne), Angie White (Chuck), Wayne White, John White (Rhonda). Her grandchildren: Peyton Carter, Garrett Penna, Courtney White, Brandon Lonkar, Faith White, Dylan White, Makaylin White, Beckett White, Hanna Lawhorn, Olivia Lawhorn, Brenna Anderson, Ian Anderson, Savannah Jordan, Branson Jordan and Blake Allen. Her Great Grandchild, Lennox Wayne Carter. Her Siblings: Jane Baucom Rowe and Guy Wyndel Baucom.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford H. Baucom and Martha Murphree Baucom, a stepson, Travis Wade White and a nephew, Stephen Michael Rowe.
