H.C. Fryar Jr., 77, of Memphis, retired from Shelby County School’s, died Friday, in Oakland, Tenn. Services will be at noon Wednesday at
Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown. He was a Korean War Marine Corps veteran and member of Whitehaven Lodge 599, Knight Templar
of York Rite, KCCH of Scottish Rite and Al Chymia Shrine Temple. Mr. Fryar, the widower of Elizabeth Lee Fryar, leaves a son, Thomas Curtis Fryar of Memphis, and seven
grandchildren.
