Melba Lee Goodman Williams
Olive Branch - Melba L. Williams, 61, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 at her home. She was retired from Sears Roebuck and Co., a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Olive Branch, member of the Community Bible Study and liked to crochet and make jewelry. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Jimmy Williams; her daughter, Melissa Barefield; two grandchildren, Hunter B. and Abbigail Paige Barefield, all of Bruce,MS. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Jo Addington of Senatobia, Elizabeth Jane Peeples of Water Valley; two brothers, Benny F. Goodman of Oxford, Timothy W. Goodman of Senatobia and 8 nieces and nephews. Services were held at Forest Hill East Funeral Home in Memphis, Tn. at 10 A.M., Saturday Feburary 14, 2009.  Her final resting place is at Forest Hill East Cemetery, The Garden Of Peace.
