Michael R. Buschlen, 67, of Lewis Center, OH died suddenly on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. Michael was born July 5, 1948 in Lexington, KY to Ralph and Helen Buschlen. He was a 1966 graduate of Westwood High School. He earned a Bachelor's of Business Degree from Memphis State University and was a retail buyer for over 40 years and currently the owner of Advanced Laser Skin Center. Michael was a member of Worthington Christian Church, where he served as Deacon and Volunteer in many ministries and also volunteered for International Friendship. He will be remembered for his generosity of time and resources. Michael was dedicated to his family and could light up any room and bring people together. His exuberance at his grandchildren's events and his playtime with them will be missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Buschlen and brother, Tim. Survived by his loving wife, Linda; children, Jason (Kyra) Buschlen, Carrie (Kevin) Hover, Melody (Bruce) Nell; mother, Helen (Robert) Ailes; grandchildren, Mary, Max, Jack, Meredith, Chloe, Sarah, Audra, Lindsey, Heather and Kevin; brothers, Curtis (Brenda) Buschlen and Jim (Helen) Buschlen.

Visitation was Sunday, December 13 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, OH. Funeral Service was held Monday , December 14 at 10:30am at WORTHINGTON CHRISTIAN CHURCH, 8145 N. High Street, Columbus, OH. Contributions were made to Eyes Wide Open International, 5000 Arlington Center Blvd., Upper Arlington, OH 43220.
