Patricia Ann Goolsby Post, 63, of Germantown, TN., passed from this life on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Methodist Germantown Hospital. She was born to the late Ima Faye and Coley Miller Goolsby on Monday, November 28, 1949.

She was a graduate of Westwood High School, class of 1967, and the University of Memphis. For a number of years, she was a marketing professional in the travel industry and in banking. She was a tireless volunteer with Pegasus of Germantown, serving on the board and as president, and with the Memphis Family Shelter where she served for a number of years as a board member and board chairman. She was a member of the Germantown Charity Horse Show and served on the hospitality committee. She was an avid bridge player and was a part of several bridge clubs in Germantown and Memphis. She enjoyed a wide circle of friends with whom she traveled and spent time.

She was a loving mother, wife, sister, friend, and a devoted grandmother who throughout her life demonstrated remarkable courage, grace, and love. She is survived by her husband Michael Webb Post; her daughter Lisa Post Lawhead; granddaughters, Eliza Gray, and Louise Webb Lawhead; sisters, Jeanie Howe of Dyersburg and Janet Harvey of Southaven; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Ima Faye and Coley Miller Goolsby; and sisters, Betty Brainard, Colene Gann, and Sherron Newell.

A celebration of Pat's life was held at Idlewild Presbyterian Church, 1750 Union Ave., at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2012. A private burial followed at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
