Richard Eugene Atkins, 75, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at his residence. Richard (known as Ricky) was born in Memphis, TN on May 30, 1946. He has lived a wonderful life with Charlotte Atkins, his wife and life partner, his children: Amanda (Don) Sowell of Foley, AL; Ricki Jean (Jason) Hardin of Grenada, MS; Rachel (Brooks) Hart of Orange Beach, AL; Two stepchildren: Christina Rogers, Heather Cooley; Two sisters: Gwynne (Wayne) Presley of Orange Beach, AL; Kimberly Williams of Foley, AL; Fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; Many, many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father (Eugene Atkins), mother (June Turner), stepfather (Ira Turner), baby sister (Leigh Anne) and brother-in-law (Bob Boyinton)

A celebration of life will be held Monday, March 21, 2022, at Pine Rest Funeral Home at 6:00 PM.

Richard Atkin's family will spread his ashes at Shady Grove Church in Eupora, MS on April 9, 2022, at 11:00 AM
